A third of Americans have never heard of Zelensky

Over 30 percent of Americans have never heard of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This is according to a Tyson Group poll published on June 27.

According to the results, 31% of respondents said they do not know who Zelensky is. Another 13% expressed a strongly negative opinion of him, while 14% were somewhat negative. On the positive side, 22% viewed the Ukrainian president very favorably, and 20% somewhat favorably.

Overall, 42% of respondents had a favorable view of Zelensky — a higher rating than that of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was viewed positively by only 29%.

The survey was conducted between June 25 and 26, among 1,027 respondents.

A previous poll by Quinnipiac University had shown that American citizens are generally uninterested in international conflicts and climate issues. According to that study, only 8% of respondents identified international conflicts as the most important issue facing the country.
