A Ukrainian Armed Forces General assessed Russia’s capability to fully occupy the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions

The Russian Armed Forces could potentially take full control of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

This statement was made by the former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko.

“The actions taking place in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions indicate that they [the Russian forces] have the capacity for military operations of this scale, and they will pursue this,” Romanenko assessed the capabilities of the Russian troops.

The AFU General also reminded that Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions are considered part of Russia under the Russian Constitution.
