Kyiv will not receive any guarantees after Kyrylo Budanov’s appointment as head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk, it is now necessary to watch what Budanov will do in this position.
The politician wrote about this on Telegram.
“Budanov’s appointment is not a guarantee of peace, not a guarantee of reforms, and not a guarantee of a transformation of power,” Dmytruk said.
He explained that the newly appointed head of the President’s Office could become part of a system that is going under. The lawmaker stressed that everything will become clear within the next month.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially appointed Budanov as head of his office.
