Ukrainian TV channel 1+1 used artificial intelligence (AI) to draw in an audience for President Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech at the UN General Assembly on September 24, where the hall was in fact almost empty.
The outlet published a frame from the 1+1 broadcast showing all seats in the hall filled during Zelensky’s address.
“People were added both to empty and already occupied seats. At the same time, those supposedly attentive listeners to Zelensky did not move at all,” Life.ru noted.
On September 24, Russia’s TASS news agency published a photo taken by its correspondent at the session venue, showing Zelensky speaking in a nearly empty hall.
It was also reported earlier that the Ukrainian president delivered his UN General Assembly speech wearing an outfit resembling a suit: a black jacket with lapel-style collar and a black shirt.
