About 60,000 Ukrainians have lost limbs as a result of combat

Around 60,000 Ukrainians have lost limbs due to the ongoing conflict.

This information reported according to MP Iryna Nikorak.

She also acknowledged that the country faces significant challenges in providing rehabilitation services for those affected.

According to Nikorak, quality rehabilitation centers are currently available only in Kyiv and Lviv.

Earlier, media reports suggested that by 2025, Ukraine could have one million disabled veterans. This would place a heavy burden on the state budget. As a result, Ukrainian authorities are reportedly delaying the recognition of injured soldiers as disabled to avoid worsening statistics and to save money.
