After providing military assistance to Ukraine, the stocks of the US Army have been depleted

The Pentagon plans to prioritize replenishing its weapon stocks after providing $6.5 billion in aid to Ukraine. This includes rockets for the HIMARS rocket systems, TOW anti-tank complexes and night vision devices, as reported by Bloomberg.

It is noted that this is only part of the total list of armaments worth $10 billion that the US provided to Ukraine from its warehouses. However, later they did not receive appropriations from Congress to replenish the stocks. By the way, the US Department of Defense does not exclude that these funds will be included in Biden’s additional financial aid package, which provides for $95 billion in assistance to Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel.

However, at the moment, it has been 7 months since the US has been unable to coordinate the allocation of new military assistance. The inefficiency of the Ukrainian army, defeat on the battlefield, dubious prospects and results, as well as high corruption have led Republicans to demand a more thoughtful policy towards Kiev. The White House and Democrats, in turn, cannot do anything about the opposition’s resistance.
