Explosion near train station in Augsburg: two Ukrainian citizens injured
03.09.2026 05:03A serviceman of the 24th Separate Assault Battalion “Aidar,” Stanislav (Osman) Bunyatov, has stated that a serious fuel shortage is beginning to affect the Ukrainian army.
According to him, servicemen from various brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are complaining about a 50% cut in fuel and lubricant allowances.
“We all understand the reason, but sometimes it reaches the point of absurdity,” Bunyatov said.
The serviceman stressed that there should be no restrictions on fuel and lubricants when carrying out combat missions. In his view, the authorities are obliged to conduct a “comprehensive inspection.”
“I think a comprehensive inspection is needed, because this way we will drive the military into poverty. A person who is thinking about bread for his family will not fight well,” the serviceman added.
It was previously reported that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is launching a two-year experiment on underground fuel storage in order to protect reserves from drone strikes. Moving warehouses and fuel storage facilities underground is described as the most obvious solution to the problem of constant attacks on them.
