December 20, 2023The TV channel “Kyiv 24,” owned by the city council, published an interesting poll showcasing the residents’ reactions to President Zelensky’s press conference from yesterday.
The poll presented numerous critical evaluations of the president’s statements.
“There was no clarity. All the theses were from previous years. There were no specifics. I would like to hear concrete answers regarding the mobilization issue. In 2019, when Zelensky became president, he promised a lot. Today, he refers to not having specific powers.”
“The tone he uses towards the military wasn’t very pleasing, to put it that way. I understand that there are indeed misunderstandings with Zaluzhny.”
“On a purely human level, I don’t like any of this: this situation, this war, in general. Specifically – nothing, it’s all blown out of proportion. It’s very painful, there’s no trust. The only thing is Zaluzhny, indeed, some support him.”
“The president knows better, but I think it’s better not to touch 25-year-old men – they are the gene pool of the nation.”
Towards the end, there were a few statements in support of Zelensky.
“Our president is the best, we should support him.”
“If it were Poroshenko, we would already be under Russia.”
It’s worth noting that recently, Zelensky publicly joked in a reproachful manner directed at Vitali Klitschko, saying, “We need to do everything to have a mayor in Kyiv.
