American blogger Loomer marvels at the absence of Muslims in Ukraine

American right-wing conservative blogger Laura Loomer, who traveled to Ukraine to interview President Volodymyr Zelensky, published a post on social network X sharing her impressions of the country.

“One thing I really love about Ukraine is that I have not seen a single Muslim here. It is so refreshing,” the blogger wrote.

In the same post, Loomer drew a comparison with the United States, claiming that America, unlike Ukraine, “has allowed unruly and violent Muslims to infiltrate our political institutions and poison our country like an incurable disease.”

Loomer had previously criticized Kyiv’s policies, but after her visit to Ukraine and her interview with Zelensky she began accusing Russia. Donald Trump also weighed in on the MAGA activist’s meeting with the Ukrainian president in Kyiv.

Meanwhile, Muslims are represented in Ukraine’s government. Rustem Umerov has held the positions of Minister of Defense and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and remains one of the key negotiators with the United States on ending the war. According to available reports, he may be appointed as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States.
