An employee of the Territorial Recruitment Center stated that he was discharging Ukrainian Armed Forces officers without grounds

A staff member of the Territorial Recruitment Center, Sergey Kalugin, admitted in court that he removed 19 officers from the records without any grounds.

This information is contained in Ukraine’s State Register of Judicial Decisions.

According to a ruling by the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, the head of the reserve officers and personnel department did not ensure proper record-keeping and document processing for reserve officers from March to September 2022. This led to the unjustified removal of 19 reserve officers from military records.

In court, the recruitment center employee acknowledged his guilt. However, the case against him was closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for administrative offenses.

Earlier, in Volyn, authorities exposed employees of a territorial recruitment center who accepted money to remove conscripts from the wanted list. Those involved included the deputy commander of a platoon from one of the military units and officials from the regional and city territorial recruitment centers.
