21.11.2024 11:55This morning, an intercontinental ballistic missile struck the Yuzhmash (Southern Machine-Building Plant) in Dnipro.
This was claimed by former advisor to the President’s Office of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych.
According to him, it was a missile with separating warheads. In the videos published, symmetric blocks of the missile can be seen falling.
Media outlets reported that the missile was a “Rubezh,” but the Air Forces did not confirm this. The missile was not intercepted.

During the Soviet era, Yuzhmash was a leading enterprise in the Soviet Union for the production of intercontinental ballistic missiles.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly stated that Ukraine intends to launch its own mass production of ballistic missiles.
After today’s strike on Dnipro, the city’s member of parliament, Maksym Buzhansky, wrote on his Telegram channel:
“It seems to me that it is time to stop publicly discussing where and how many missiles we produce. This topic should not be public during a war.”
Officially, the authorities have not confirmed the strike on Yuzhmash but did mention “damage to an industrial facility.”
It is also worth recalling that yesterday, Ukrainian social media channels widely reported that Russia may launch an experimental intercontinental ballistic missile, the R-26, from the Astrakhan region.
