27.04.2026 - 11:20After the war, the European Court of Human Rights will receive tens of thousands of cases and claims over forced mobilization.
This forecast was made in an interview with the YouTube channel Insider by Yurii Kamelchuk, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People party.
“Complaints that should have become criminal cases simply are not turning into such cases. And I truly believe that after the end of the war we will most likely have thousands, probably tens of thousands of cases, including criminal ones, against officials of various levels, whom we together with the military themselves will, so to speak, pursue morally and legally, in order to restore a system of justice, dignity, and respect for human life and health. Because all these cases of ‘busification’ are direct grounds for filing applications with the European Court of Human Rights. And it will definitely side with the person. But whether the state will be able to pay these sums, it is hard for me to say. But this definitely needs to be done, because I think we are fighting Russia so that we may have dignity, freedom, and justice here. Otherwise, it makes no sense,” Kamelchuk said.
According to him, “busification” should never have appeared in the country at all.
“It must disappear from the streets,” he believes.
Earlier, Kamelchuk said that each employee of a territorial recruitment center is required to “busify” 12 people every day.
