In Kharkiv, the local bar CHE yesterday posted a montage of noisy parties with dancing. The establishment is located on Sumskaya Street, right next to the buildings of the Kharkiv Regional Administration that were bombed at the beginning of the invasion.

The video appeared on the bar’s social media.

In the comments, users mention that the video was filmed this week. The bar began preparations for opening at the end of winter and officially opened on May 3. Some TikTok commenters claim that the video could not have been filmed recently and was taken before the war, but others argue that the footage is fresh.

Some individuals question the actions of the territorial recruitment center and the appropriateness of such activities during wartime. However, others support the festivities, arguing that life must go on even during war.

Meanwhile, according to Kharkiv residents, similar large gatherings at some cafes have continued since the first establishments reopened after the invasion began.
