August 4, 2024The State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine has announced new suspicions against the former head of the Rivne Regional Territorial Recruitment Center.
This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
This time, he is suspected of “aiding citizens in evading mobilization and military service.” The man has been detained, and investigators will request his detention without the possibility of bail.
In July 2023, he was notified of suspicion in a case involving the beating of a serviceman. In October, he was suspected of illegal enrichment (the military commissioner owns real estate and a land plot worth more than 46.6 million hryvnias – 1.05 million euros).
For these episodes, he was released on bail. Now the military commissioner may return to the detention center.
It was previously reported that in Kharkiv, a military commissioner extorted a bribe and a discount from a restaurant to avoid mobilizing its workers and clients.
