18.12.2025 08:31A Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran who has lost both arms and legs was allegedly told at PrivatBank to “take the card in your hands and hold it up to your face for a photo” in order to reinstate the payments he is entitled to.
The incident was reported by Olena Tolkachova, head of the “Angels” Patronage Service, on her Facebook page.
According to Tolkachova, the medical coordinator who brought the defender to the branch was not allowed to hold the card on the man’s behalf, and was told that “that’s not allowed.”

The financial institution has already called the situation “unacceptable” and promised to provide the veteran with all necessary service as soon as possible.
Earlier, in the Lviv region, a wounded Azov veteran was beaten by displaced persons because the noise from his crutch bothered them.
It also became known that in the Cherkasy region, military enlistment officers beat a disabled Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran.
