At the newly established checkpoints in Kyiv yesterday, they’re already issuing draft notices

Ukrainian Telegram channels are publishing an anonymous letter alleging that summons are being distributed at new checkpoints in Kyiv, despite authorities denying this information.

“Temporary checkpoints – deceit and provocation; they were clearly set up for the sake of summons (I was clearly told this at one of them). Yesterday, in one area, there were immediately three checkpoints on the same road, every 500-1000 meters, stopping absolutely everyone and issuing summons,” a reader writes.

No confirmations of these claims are provided. No similar testimonies have surfaced online yet.

Recall that Nazariy Kishak, an active member of the 72nd Brigade, stated that starting from December 28, as part of mobilization measures, control checkpoints will be set up in every city and region for handing out summons.

“We’re starting mobilization,” he wrote on social media.

Yesterday in Kyiv, military checkpoints appeared in the Podil area.

Today, the Kyiv City Military Administration commented on the appearance of these checkpoints in the capital. Officials informed that the checkpoints supposedly appeared as part of security drills scheduled until December 28 in various districts of Kyiv.
