At the Ukrainian border, a man disguised himself and tried to leave for Romania using his sister’s passport

A 44-year-old resident of Zolotonosha attempted to enter Romania by dressing up as a woman. He wore a wig, applied makeup, dressed in women’s clothing, and took his sister’s passport with him.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, ironically referring to the detainee as “charming Sergietta.”

“Charming ‘Sergietta’ planned a trip abroad. The 44-year-old resident of Zolotonosha, dressed as a woman, attempted to cross the border into Romania. Sporting a ‘fashion look,’ makeup, and a wig, and carrying his sister’s passport, the Ukrainian arrived in Zakarpattia,” the statement said.

Zakarpattia border guards quickly exposed him, although the man insisted until the last moment that he was a woman.

A protocol for an administrative offense has been drawn up.

It is worth noting that according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, about a dozen men with fake documents attempt to leave Ukraine through official checkpoints every day.
