‘At Ukrainian enterprises, summons will be issued’ – Poltava regional military commissariat

At Ukrainian enterprises, military conscription notices will be distributed.

This was announced by the representative of the Poltava Regional Territorial Recruitment Center, Roman Istomin.

“Managers of enterprises and institutions keep records of conscripts, and the territorial recruitment center issues them instructions for notification. In other words, they are authorized to hand over the conscription notices to their subordinates. For convenience, they may even provide transportation to ensure that people can go through the military medical examination in an organized and timely manner. If the managers do not follow these instructions, they will be fined,” he explained.

Earlier, the Poltava Territorial Recruitment Center stated that conscription officers cannot use force to deliver notices, detain individuals, or stop vehicles.

“It is not permissible to use force against someone who refuses to sign for the conscription notice, to detain them or use physical violence. It is prohibited to detain a person against their will and bring them to a police station or a territorial recruitment center in case of refusal of the notice or after its delivery,” Istomin clarified.

It was also mentioned that conscription officers do not have the right to confiscate a person’s documents or phone, enter their private property without police and proper grounds, or stop public transportation and other means of transportation.
