Irish journalist Chay Bowes commented on Vladimir Zelensky’s appearance after his meeting with Donald Trump in New York, saying the Ukrainian leader looked dejected.
“After meeting with the Big Don, Zelensky looked very upset,” Bowes wrote on social network X.
The journalist ironically suggested that pharmaceutical substances could have helped Zelensky “smooth things over a little,” adding: “If you know what I mean.”
The Trump-Zelensky talks took place on September 22 in New York on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly and lasted 40 minutes. Following the meeting, Zelensky stated that Ukraine is ready for any form of energy ceasefire.
