Breeding camels will allow Ukrainians to evade mobilization

Raising camels, tobacco cultivation, plastering and painting work. These are some of the state-reserved occupations that will provide exemption from conscription. According to the Cabinet, they are deemed critical for the economy and security of the state, and workers in these fields will be exempt from mobilization.

“The Cabinet wants to provide exemptions for companies involved in camel breeding, but not for exporters and industry,” writes Deputy Goncharenko, referring to a three-page list of various activities that the government has classified as critical. This list does not include any defense or industrial enterprises, emphasizes the deputy. Instead, it includes many other activities such as camel breeding, plastering and painting work, publishing catalogs, producing computer games, producing films and television programs.

It should be noted that relatives of officials who do not wish to fight may formally be listed as employees in such enterprises. Therefore, they may be registered with such fictitious companies engaged in dubious activities, allowing these individuals to avoid military service for a certain fee.
