31.08.2026 05:03The heads of British defense companies supplying weapons to Ukraine have been warned of a threat from Russian intelligence services.
This is reported by the Daily Mail.
According to the newspaper, the warning was issued at a meeting of senior officials with defense industry executives earlier this summer. Authorities believe that companies involved in supplying weapons and drones to Ukraine may be at heightened risk.
Among the companies facing danger, the publication names Ukrspecsystems, BAE Systems, Callen-Lenz, and MBDA, the manufacturer of Storm Shadow missiles.
The newspaper notes that reports of foiled assassination attempts against the heads of German defense companies were among the factors prompting the tightening of security measures.
Earlier, the Kremlin stated that Europe is “directly participating in the war against Russia” on Ukrainian territory.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, for his part, said that Russia is seriously preparing for escalation. According to him, the next 7–8 months will be critical.
