‘Caravan barks – the dog moves on’. MP Tyshchenko comments on his charges in court

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Mykola Tyshchenko arrived at the Pechersk Court in Kyiv, where a hearing is scheduled for 2:00 PM to determine the preventive measure for him.

Before the hearing began, Tyshchenko made several statements regarding the criminal case opened against him. Tyshchenko said he could not disclose the reasons for his visit to Dnipro or comment on the conflict with the soldier, as it is part of the pre-trial investigation.

“I am fighting corruption, you know that I am a political inspector; I stand for ordinary people, and therefore, a large-scale information campaign has been launched against me. What happened in Dnipro has already happened. I want the court to evaluate all the events without pressure from law enforcement or politicians. The court should assess what happened in Dnipro,” said the MP.

He promised to resign as a deputy “if all bot farms in Ukraine are closed,” or “if they stop stealing wood.”

During his interaction with journalists, Tyshchenko also stated a popular phrase: “The caravan barks – the dog walks.”

It is worth noting that the prosecution will request round-the-clock house arrest for the MP. Earlier, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, stated that his godfather Tyshchenko should resign from his parliamentary position.
