Individual commanders of the 59th Brigade have been held accountable following an investigation that began after a public statement by paramedic Ptashka.

Earlier, she accused the brigade’s command, which was stationed in the Pokrovske direction, of “conscious negligence, criminal orders, and disregard for the life and health of personnel,” which led to “the death of a large number of servicemen.”

After this, an inspection team arrived, which, according to the Military Law Enforcement Service, “did not find any cases of issuing criminal orders.”

“At the same time, certain management decisions and factors that could negatively affect the execution of combat missions by the military unit were identified. To prevent this in the future, the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has made appropriate decisions and taken several measures aimed at preventing such incidents. Individual officials from the brigade’s command have been held accountable,” the statement said.
