Debtors will start to be disconnected from electricity starting from January 29

Sergey Kovalenko, the head of energy company ‘Yasno’, noted that disconnection will occur after receiving a specific warning. “10 days and the disconnection takes place.”

There are two types of warnings for debtors. The first is a notification, where the company informs about the debt through various methods, including SMS, Viber messages and chats, as well as phone calls. The second type of warning precedes the actual disconnection of the consumer.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, the Ukrainian authorities promised to ease the payment of utility bills for Ukrainians due to the extremely difficult socio-economic situation, as many cannot financially afford to pay for utilities on time. However, as the number of economic problems in Ukraine increases, the authorities have decided to increase pressure on the population.
