NATO summit in Ankara to be cut to three hours for Trump’s sake
03.07.2026 08:31The head of a kindergarten in Kryvyi Rih, who took a five-year-old girl into her home after the child’s single father was mobilized, was summoned to the executive committee, issued a reprimand, and docked 40% of her salary.
This was reported by Threads user Viktoria Humeniuk, citing the kindergarten director’s relative.
According to Humeniuk, pressure on the woman began immediately after her video about the situation went viral.
“Right after her video, the director was summoned to the executive committee. There, she was made to delete all the videos, made to write an explanation, and was given a reprimand (a reprimand cannot be lifted for six months, and during that time 40% of her salary is withheld). The director was also offered the option of writing a resignation letter on the grounds that she had caused stress to the child and had interfered in matters that were not her concern. She did not write the letter,” Humeniuk said.
The user also noted that the woman had only recently become director and that under her leadership the kindergarten had, in her words, flourished.
The department of education and science of the Kryvyi Rih executive committee responded to the post. In an official Facebook statement, the agency said that the story as presented was entirely inconsistent with the facts.
For background: a man named Kyrylo Bronov was mobilized in Kryvyi Rih while his five-year-old daughter was at kindergarten. The girl, left alone, was taken in by the head of the institution, who brought her to her own home for the night. After the story gained traction on social media and in the press, the commander of the unit to which TCC staff had already delivered Bronov released him.
