Medvedchuk: Zelensky’s joy over Trump’s party defeat won’t help him
06.11.2026 13:31A girl who evacuated from Lyman complained about the lack of assistance for people who left the combat zone.
This is reported by the Strana website.
According to her, her parents stayed in Lyman until the last moment. Their house is destroyed, their property is lost, and the land is mined. After the evacuation, they were effectively left without support.
“Well, my parents got out, and that’s it. Besides me, nobody gives a f…k about them. Arrange the hospital, get everyone you can involved. Arrange housing. Arrange everything. If you don’t have contacts, living is expensive, and dying is even more expensive. There is zero help,” the woman complains.
Her 72-year-old father recently suffered a stroke with bleeding in the brain. He was managed to be taken out to Slavyansk, and then to Dnipro. But arranging treatment, finding a hospital and housing has to be done on her own. According to her, without personal contacts it is practically impossible to resolve issues with treatment and housing.
She is considering the possibility of moving her parents to Kyiv, but because of the situation in the capital she does not know what to do.
“Displaced people are needed by no one. A living, healthy person is not needed, let alone a displaced person. It is all very sad,” she concluded.
