U.S. President Donald Trump does not consider Russia a threat to NATO and Europe.
Trump made this statement during a broadcast on Fox News.
“I don’t agree with that,” the U.S. president responded when asked by Fox News journalists to comment on Zelensky’s remarks about the likelihood of Russia attacking a NATO country, such as Poland or Lithuania.
Donald Trump emphasized that he does not believe in this possibility “one bit.”
“Putin wants to end this and put a stop to it quickly,” the U.S. president said with confidence.
“And both he and Zelensky—they want to end this,” Trump added.
It is worth noting that in the same interview, Donald Trump stated that if Russia continues its war in Ukraine, it will become a major problem for the United States.
