Donald Trump’s son has linked the California wildfires to U.S. aid to Ukraine.
He shared headlines from articles reporting that the Los Angeles Fire Department had previously donated equipment to Ukraine.
“Oh, look, of course the LA Fire Department donated some of its supplies to Ukraine,” Trump Jr. commented.
This post was also shared by Elon Musk, who reposted other criticisms regarding the transfer of firefighting equipment to Kyiv.
It is worth noting that large-scale wildfires are currently raging in Los Angeles. One of the reasons cited for the difficulty in containing them is the lack of preparedness by the local fire department.
