Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a phone call with his American counterpart Donald Trump, proposed holding a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky in Moscow.

This was reported by the French news agency AFP, cited by television channel BFMTV.

“During a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump the day before, Putin suggested meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Moscow,” the publication stated.

Earlier, Trump remarked that Putin and Zelensky “are not the best of friends, but they are getting along better than expected.”
