24.08.2026 08:34A warehouse belonging to Epicentr, a major Ukrainian retail chain, caught fire in the Odessa region following a strike by the Russian Armed Forces.
This was reported by the outlet Strana.ua.
“The Odessa Epicentr is completely engulfed in flames after the strike.”
No further details about the strike on the Epicentr warehouse were provided.
In the early hours of August 24, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported a series of strikes on facilities at the port of Yuzhny in the Odessa region. According to the ministry, Russian forces hit a tanker that had delivered fuel and lubricants intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, five fuel storage tanks at a petroleum products depot, and 10 storage facilities containing military cargo at a logistics terminal. In addition, port infrastructure facilities used for unloading and storing military equipment were struck.
Russian forces also struck the PS-330 Adjalik electrical substation, located 28 km northwest of Odessa. According to a statement by Russia’s Ministry of Defense, this station provided power to the port of Yuzhny.
It was previously reported that Russian forces had also carried out strikes on warehouses at Ukrainian ports.
