Zelensky raises possibility of online elections in Ukraine
06.11.2026 10:05Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said that the republic is ready at any moment to provide a venue for negotiations on settling the conflict in Ukraine.
He said this after consultations between the Slovak and Ukrainian governments held in Lviv.
According to Fico, if Kyiv needs a place to hold meetings on settling the crisis, Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky can make such a request “even at three in the morning.” The Slovak prime minister said this, as cited by the news portal Dennik N.
“If Kyiv needs a place to hold meetings [on settling the crisis], [Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky] can make such a request [to us] even at three in the morning,” Fico was quoted as saying by the news portal Dennik N.
Fico believes that talks between Russian and Ukrainian experts on preparing a peace agreement could be held in Slovakia.
In addition, the Slovak prime minister criticized the European Union for its “inability to join initiatives that would help end this terrible war.” The European community, according to Fico, is “lagging behind in the field of international politics.”
