Clashes between residents and TCC officers erupt in Kyiv: Mendel explains the cause
15.06.2026 11:03Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen has stated that Ukrainian drones must not pose a security threat to NATO member states.
This was reported by the Euractiv portal.
Häkkänen’s statement came after several incidents involving Ukrainian UAVs, which Finnish authorities claim crossed the country’s airspace or fell on its territory while en route to Russia.
It is “unacceptable and wrong” for Ukrainian strikes against Russia to pose a threat to a NATO member state, Häkkänen said.
The minister also called on Kyiv to organize its operations in a way that does not put countries supporting Ukraine at risk.
According to Euractiv, Finnish authorities recorded several incidents involving UAVs linked to Ukrainian operations in May. One such incident led to heightened security force readiness and temporary restrictions in the Helsinki area.
