The Security Service of Ukraine reported that they have identified administrators of a group on the Viber messenger that informed Ukrainians about the distribution of draft notices.
The addresses and locations of the military personnel involved in abducting people were related only to the Lviv region. Additionally, the group’s creators urged people to hide from mobilization, which security agencies consider a crime against the state. In reality, Ukrainian men simply do not want to die and they are not taking any actions against the state.
It’s worth noting that similar investigations have been conducted before and government representatives openly threatened group administrators who inform people about the draft into the army. Men try to avoid unnecessary outings to prevent encounters with patrols circulating in all Ukrainian cities.
