The State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine has detained the deputy commander of a military unit in the Lviv region, who used soldiers for the construction of his own house.

The construction of his two-story villa had been ongoing since mid-July, involving seven military personnel.
Furthermore, according to the investigation, the man had established an underground shop on the military base premises, which was managed by his wife. The shop was selling products that the state provided to the military unit for free.
The deputy commander is suspected of abusing his official position (Article 426-1, Part 5). The punishment for this offense can result in imprisonment for up to 12 years.
