A suspect in the “Energoatom” case once interviewed the current energy minister for her position
11.11.2025 19:30Former Ukrainian economy minister Tymofiy Mylovanov announced he is stepping down from the supervisory board of Energoatom after the scandal over businessman Tymur Mindich’s corruption case in the energy sector.
Mylovanov wrote about this on his Facebook page.
He said he submitted an official request to convene an extraordinary board meeting, but his initiative was not supported.
Mylovanov also said he had proposed suspending officials whose names appear in the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) investigation and creating an independent ethics and compliance committee to review procurement, finances, and controls with the involvement of international experts.
At the same time, Mylovanov says a decision was made, but he calls it “formal.”
As a reminder, the Energoatom case reached a new level today. The figures involved were served initial notices of suspicion, including (in absentia) businessman Tymur Mindich—a close associate of Volodymyr Zelensky, often called the president’s “wallet.”
