“Ready to turn everyone in: ex–deputy prime minister Chernyshov is discussing a plea deal in the Mindich case”, – says an MP
12.11.2025 05:03The suspect in the Energoatom case, former adviser to the energy minister Ihor Myroniuk, conducted the job interview in July for the current energy minister, Svitlana Hrynchuk, for her position.
This was stated at the court hearing that is choosing a preventive measure for Myroniuk.
As a reminder, today the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine is holding a session to select a preventive measure for a figure in Tymur Mindich’s case—former energy minister’s adviser Ihor Myroniuk, who appears in the first batch of NABU audio recordings under the nickname “Rocket.”
According to NABU, Myroniuk, who in 2023 became an adviser to Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, was one of the organizers of the kickback scheme at Energoatom.
Earlier at the same hearing it was reported that another figure in the case—Tymur Mindich—exerted influence over Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
Before this, the media wrote that as many as four members of the government—both former and current—are implicated in the energy-sector corruption.
