Today’s shelling in Chernihiv targeted a hotel near the city center where military personnel were staying.
This information reported according to former MP Igor Mosiychuk.
He writes that there were many casualties, both fatalities and injuries, and he has no doubt that someone deliberately targeted the hotel. Official authorities have not confirmed this information, and they did not mention any casualties among the military, only reporting damage to a social infrastructure facility.
It’s worth noting that there are already reports of 45 injured and 11 fatalities in Chernihiv. The number of casualties may increase as there may be people trapped under the rubble. Residential buildings and a hospital have been damaged.
The Regional Military Administration reported that Russia targeted Chernihiv with “Iskander” missiles.
