War correspondent: NATO’s plan to “bring Russia to its knees” in 42 days would end in nuclear catastrophe for Europe
15.09.2026 07:31Former prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Stanislav Bronevytsky called Ukraine’s authorities and law enforcement agencies a “stray circus” following the story of the suspicion notice served on National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine director Semyon Kryvonosov and the subsequent cancellation of that suspicion notice.
The former prosecutor expressed his opinion on social media.
Bronevytsky reconstructed the chronology of events from the perspective of, in his words, a neutral observer.
“The prosecutor general of an entire country signs a procedural document — a suspicion notice for the NABU director, who has been dodging direct answers to uncomfortable questions about fictitious adoption and bribery. Subsequently, that same prosecutor general, having issued himself an official foreign travel order, leaves Ukrainian territory in a government vehicle. Later, the president of an entire country removes that very prosecutor general by decree, thereby once again demonstrating complete and irresponsible micromanagement over all processes in a country that does not belong to him as private property. Then the very same NABU director who was served with the suspicion notice holds a briefing with yet another ideologically limited individual, and for 21 minutes the two of them are unable to answer a single journalist’s question in plain language. And at the end of the day, some unidentified official of the Office of the Prosecutor General announces that no suspicion notice was ever served on the NABU director, because it is, verbatim, devoid of meaning,” — Bronevytsky wrote.
In offering an overall assessment of what had happened, the former prosecutor did not hold back on sharp language.
“Do you even realize what a bifurcation point we have all reached, where every character in this tragicomedy — absolutely every actor, scriptwriter, and marriage fraudster — looks like a full-blown clown whose jokes no longer make people laugh but make them flinch. The president is not in control of anything, not even his own emotions; the security forces are devouring each other; the marriage fraudster and bribe-taker with glasses fogged up from short-term stress is afraid of any uncomfortable question. Our enemies don’t need to do anything — we will defeat ourselves,” — Bronevytsky stated.
The day before, Prosecutor General Kravchenko signed suspicion notices against the leadership of NABU and the SAPO. Following this, President Zelensky by decree suspended Kravchenko and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a motion for his dismissal from the post of prosecutor general. Later, the Office of the Prosecutor General denied that a suspicion notice had been served on the NABU director.
