The only source of financial assistance to Ukraine right now is Europe.
France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said this in an interview with the newspaper Libération.
Commenting on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos about Europe’s insufficient efforts to support Kyiv, the French foreign minister emphasized that at present 100% of financial aid to Ukraine comes from European countries. Barrot added that most intelligence and military support also comes from Europe.
On January 22, Zelenskyy accused Europe at the WEF of political indecision and of not knowing how to defend itself.
In response, Russian State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky said that Zelenskyy had publicly humiliated Ukraine’s European sponsors.
