French politician, leader of the ‘Patriots’ movement, Florian Filippo, called the confiscation of French savings to help Kyiv madness

French politician and leader of the “Patriots” movement, Florian Filippo, reacted negatively on the social network X to the idea of using the savings of French citizens to financially support Kyiv.

The politician quoted from an article in the newspaper Le Monde, where one of the ways to continue “supporting Ukrainian democracy” was mentioned as attracting the savings of ordinary French citizens to create a fund to aid Ukraine.

“In the absurd article that was just published in Le Monde, it is said that the deep state wants to use the savings of the French to finance Ukraine,” Filippo wrote.

He called this idea insane because, in his opinion, it would mean financing Vladimir Zelensky and “NATO’s war” by the French.

“There can be no question of encroaching on the savings of the French for their war! Enough! Peace as soon as possible!” demanded the politician.

Earlier, Polish political scientist Andrzej Gil, in an interview with the publication Do Rzeczy, called Zelensky’s bet on German assistance after the United States began to support Kyiv less and less a mistake.
