Washington has halted financial support for Kyiv by decision of U.S. President Donald Trump.
This was stated by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, with footage of her remark being shared by political Telegram channels.
At the same time, the Pentagon “continues to sell weapons to NATO countries in large quantities,” although “it cannot do this forever.”
In the same statement, Leavitt said there is optimism about achieving a peaceful settlement of the military conflict between Moscow and Kyiv.
The day before, Leavitt accused critics of Trump’s peace plan of profiting from the war between Ukraine and Russia.
Earlier, the White House published a photo of Trump’s meeting with Zelensky, captioned with the phrase: “We are not spending money.”
