Germany declines to participate in “coalition of the willing” exercises in Poland

Germany will not take part in the first military exercises of the “coalition of the willing,” which are to be held on Polish territory.

“Germany will not participate in the first military exercises of the ‘coalition of the willing,’ which will take place in Poland,” the agency’s publication states.

Berlin justified its decision by saying that the exercises are limited in scope and fall into the category of staff-level events.

Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated the need to hold negotiations on the Ukrainian issue, emphasizing that the right moment for this has already come.
