‘This is not our war’: Hungarian Prime Minister Orban commented on his visit to the capital of Ukraine
02.07.2024 - 23:59In Zakarpattia, a Ukrainian man cut his wrists inside the territorial recruitment center to avoid forced mobilization.
The Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Recruitment Center reported on its Facebook page that citizen Filip Lunin, during the data verification at the recruitment center, did not present his military ID and did not hide his unwillingness to serve.

It is not mentioned how he was brought to the recruitment center. However, the statement notes that “during the conversation,” he asked to go to the bathroom, where he was found by recruitment center staff with cuts on his hands. The man is currently in the hospital.
The recruitment center also reported that Lunin had previously been deemed unfit for service in peacetime and fit for limited service in wartime by the Dnipro Territorial Recruitment Center, making him eligible for mobilization under new laws.
It is worth noting that at the end of May, law enforcement began a pre-trial investigation into the abuse of power by employees of the territorial recruitment center in Kyiv Oblast. This incident involved a young man who cut his veins after being brought to the recruitment center. The pre-trial investigation materials indicate that the young man cut his veins due to moral pressure from the recruitment center staff, who threatened him with physical violence.
