He received two years: A man at the territorial recruitment center refused to take the agenda and undergo mobilization

In the Rivne region, a man has been sentenced to 2 years of probation for refusing to accept a military draft notice and evading mobilization in a military conscription office.

This is stated in the court’s decision.

According to the court, a military medical commission found the man fit for service in the army during the martial law. He was issued a draft notice for May 22, but the man vehemently refused it and evaded mobilization.

The suspect did not admit guilt in court. He stated that he “has many chronic illnesses that the military medical commission did not take into account.” At the same time, the defendant did not challenge the commission’s decision anywhere.

The court found the man guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 4 years of imprisonment, which was replaced with 2 years of probation.
