Young Ukrainian soldiers are going mad on the front lines
January 23, 2024“God forgives, but Ukrainians do not”: Alleged death threats in the Ukrainian language were reportedly sent to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjatro ahead of his upcoming visit to Uzhgorod, as reported by the publication Index.
According to the Index publication, the letter’s author expressed hatred towards the Hungarian government, accusing Hungary of doing everything to ensure Ukraine loses the war. The author warned that Hungarian Minister Szijjarto should expect an “explosive reception” on January 29 and recommended preparations for funerals. The note concluded with the words: “God forgives, but Ukrainians do not.” The Hungarian State Secretary of Foreign Affairs stated that the threat would not deter Szijjarto from representing Hungary’s interests.
It is worth noting that Budapest’s position is very categorical regarding Kyiv. Hungary opposes Ukraine’s integration into NATO and the EU, refrains from supplying weapons as well as ammunition and blocks financial aid. The only assistance Hungary provides is humanitarian.
