January 16, 2024The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, has, on more than one occasion, shared peculiar anecdotes from his biography with journalists. In one instance, he discussed his role as Ukraine’s representative in the Council of Europe.
According to him, during that time, he had a “borscht club.”
The minister revealed this during an interview with the YouTube channel “Bomber.”
“I used to cook borscht at my apartment, at the ambassador’s residence. You invite the people you need, a bottle of vodka, borscht, bread, fat – it worked flawlessly for solving any issues. Everyone enjoys eating and drinking in various quantities,” Kuleba stated.
It’s worth noting that last year, during a visit to Kyiv, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited McDonald’s with Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba. At the fast-food establishment, the Ukrainian minister told his U.S. counterpart that he used to enjoy American fast food for breakfast during his college years, especially when dealing with a hangover.
Additionally, after their visit to McDonald’s, Dmytro Kuleba asked U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to bring back the popular fast-food chain to Ukraine.
