15.04.2024 - 05:37Members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including those stationed in Odessa for rehabilitation, have shared their thoughts on the “indefinite” service in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces until the end of the war, as stipulated by the law on mobilization passed by the Verkhovna Rada.
Videos of surveys on this topic have been published by Ukrainian Telegram channels and social media.
One of the interviewed soldiers stated that he would leave his unit voluntarily.
“I’ll shoot them all. I mean, I’m going to war now, and they’re here growing bellies and sitting in the Verkhovna Rada? That shouldn’t happen,” said another.
“I feel bad about it. Where we’ve been, let the others try,” said yet another soldier.
Recall that earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that demobilization during wartime is not provided for by legislation. He mentioned that there is no demobilization as such, only rotations and leaves.
