What consular services Ukrainian men will not be able to obtain abroad after the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
April 23, 2024The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has served a notice of suspicion to the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Mykola Solskyi.
This was reported by the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, during the years 2017-2021, Solskyi, while serving as the head of the agrarian committee of the Verkhovna Rada, illegally seized state land in the Sumy region worth 291 million hryvnias (approximately 6,882,866 euros) and attempted to seize land worth another 190 million hryvnias (approximately 4,493,967 euros).
Together with officials from the State Geocadastre and other individuals, he destroyed documents on the basis of which two state enterprises had the right to permanent use of the land. Due to their absence, the regional State Geocadastre drew up an act of unauthorized occupation of these plots.
Subsequently, the State Geocadastre transferred the plots into the ownership of pre-selected individuals under the guise of realizing their right to free land. These individuals then signed agreements to lease the land to a private agro-holding.
As a result, the minister and his accomplices obtained 1,250 land plots with a total area of 2,493 hectares. They also attempted to seize another 3,282 hectares of land.
It is worth noting that Solskyi was a business partner of the former head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Bohdan.
It should be noted that there were discussions in parliamentary circles the day before about the possible resignation of Solskyi.
