November 16, 2023Former Ukrainian MP Irina Farion commented on the words of the deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, former commander of the Azov Regiment, Maxim Zhorin, who called on her to stop speaking against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and generally to ‘go to ****.’
In a post on his Telegram channel, he referred to Farion as a ‘complete idiot’ and asked law enforcement to pay attention to Farion’s activities, which, according to him, are splitting Ukrainian society and following FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) methods.
‘It’s strange that I haven’t received any document yet stating that I’ve been renamed. I’m not Irina Dmitrievna Farion anymore; I’m now a complete idiot,’ Farion responded to this.
Recall that earlier, Farion demanded punishment from Zelensky, Zaluzhny, and Umerov for officers of ‘Azov’ for allegedly ‘rude behavior.’ They strongly reacted to the former deputy’s previous statements about Russian-speaking servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Also, the Security Service of Ukraine opened a criminal case against the former MP and lecturer at the National University ‘Lviv Polytechnic’ Irina Farion.
Regarding Farion’s statements, several expert examinations have been appointed. In particular, concerning her insults against Russian-speaking soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Farion is suspected under four articles of the Criminal Code: Article 161 (discrimination against citizens), Article 435-1 (insulting the honor and dignity of a serviceman), Article 163 (violation of correspondence privacy), Article 182 (violation of the inviolability of private life).”
