A Ukrainian man was attacked with a knife in Berlin.
This information reported according to a statement by the local police.
The 51-year-old victim was walking his dog in a park around 6:40 a.m., giving commands to the dog in Ukrainian, when two unknown individuals approached him and asked about his nationality.
Upon hearing that he was Ukrainian, one of the attackers stabbed him in the abdomen.
The assailants fled the scene. The victim was hospitalized, and his life is not in danger, authorities reported.
The investigation is being handled by the police department for politically motivated crimes.
Earlier, German media reported another incident in Frankfurt, where a 19-year-old Afghan man attacked a Ukrainian woman. According to police, the suspect did not know the victim — he saw her in a park, approached her from behind, grabbed her shoulder, and suddenly stabbed her multiple times in the head and neck area.
